Team Maryn
Players: Marc and Karyn

Marc decided to become The Milk Man when has wife Karyn said she wanted to have kids. Marc quit his job as an acupuncturist and began delivering The Milk. Usually he made his deliveries once a day but on occasion Karyn requested more Milk, so Marc made more Deliveries! Karyn spends her days smoking cigarettes and cleaning house. On her spare time she shops for clothing at thrift shops and the good will. When Marc is not delivering The Milk and Karyn is not cleaning house they love to dance. Their favorite places to dance are on the kitchen table, in the shower and most of all on their front lawn. They prepared for the first season of SYTYCD by taking professional dance lessons so they could study the dancers every move. Karyn and Marc live in Sunny San Diego. All of Marc’s Milk Deliveries were finally fruitful as they now have a 15 week old son, Elijah! In this rough economy Marc was “Laid-off” and now Karyn has resumed the Milk making responsibilities, however Marc is not the recipient of any of the “Liquid Gold” she produces…this is all for Elijah!

Joy and Gonzalo are SYTYCD Pool newbies residing in Miami Beach. This Filipina/Colombian duo is hoping to spend their winnings on Caipirihnas and Jamaican Juleps this summer.

Long time SYTYCD fan, first time gambler! Also first time I've had to pick a "team name" when it's just little old me representing! I think Mary would approve. Obsessed with all dance shows (with the exception of that lame one Elizabeth Berkley hosted), dance movies, Cat Deeley's ridiculous wardrobe, and cheesy gossip sites so betting on SYTYCD seemed like the next logical step in my life. Hopefully my carefully planned method of choosing contestants by picking names out of a hat* works for me!

*didn't really pick names out of a hat, but if I lose, that's the story I'm going with!

Self Proclaimed Best Jewish Male Caucasian Dancer East Of the Mississippi...Smooth, polished skills, honed originally from Bar Mitzvah to Bat Mitzvah back in the day when he was becoming a man. (note most jewish kids hone their skills on this circuit but often the skills erode as time passes by). This kid has kept his skills current and can now be found weekend nights harlem shaking in the basement of Clerys. Hip-Hop maybe his "go to" however he can acclimate to rap, disco, heavy metal, you name it. The kids got range and all the moves to back it up. Robot, sure, he'll even throw a running man in there if he has to. Did you say MJ? If you think he doesn't have the dance routines from the likes of Thriller, Beat it, Billy Jean and Smooth Criminal memorized you'd be horribly mistaken. Our Matzah Ball is willing to take on any caucasian in the Northeast, he's got that kind of confidence. He can captivate an audience with moves not normally seen from a Jewish diabetic with clammy palms..... YOU JUST GOT SERVED!

Mitch and Ellie here from Milwaukee, WI. Mitch was born in Boston, and went to summer camp with Melissa and Mikey G. Ellie is from Tennessee and went to Stanford to establish her Cali cred. We're both huge fans of SYTYCD.

The founder and sole member of TASHE allegedly spent the night before writing this bio with a martini in one hand and the TV remote in the other, DVRing last-season SYTYCD highlights for the 8,000th time. Is that pathetic or intimidating? Both?

OCEANIC 3
Players: Marni, Jamie and Elissa

Marni Blake Rothman, Jamie Goldstein and Elissa Farkas make up what is known as the Oceanic 3, returning once again after watching their top pick Chelsea from last year make it to Dancing with The Stars. They all met at the University of Michigan bonding over reality TV and General Hospital. Now on their own career paths, they spend most of their free time watching musically inclined programs following SYTYCD since Season One. Residing in New York City, single and dreaming big for one of them to make it to a live taping of the show.

Matt and Caroline have been participating in Idol and SYTYCD pools for years and have never won. There are due for a big win so watch out.

Deeley’s Dolls
Players: SYTYCD enthusiasts (and rabid Cat Deeley lovers), Erica Gray and Rebecca Feferman

Forced to start taking ballet when she was 4, Erica began dancing before she even knew what it was. Her stage debut was at the age of 5 when she was cast as “Mayor of the Munchkins” in her studio’s performance of The Wizard of Oz. (Dorothy and her co-horts were played by girls in the older classes so she, essentially, booked the lead role for her age group. Not bad for her first time out!) Many other recitals came and went but, at the end of the day, ballet was always something that she HAD to do – and no kid likes doing what they are told they HAVE to. After quitting ballet at the age of 11, Erica returned to dance her Freshman year in high school when she joined the school’s drill team – performing with the band and flag team during halftime at football games in the Fall and performing hip hop/lyrical/jazz routines at various competitions against other Southern California high school squads in the Spring. Clearly, she wasn’t aware of the very low ‘coolness factor’ of this decision and how it would affect her social life, especially on weekends when she missed out on too many parties and trips to Lake Havasu. In the end, that didn’t really seem to matter, though, and she remained on the squad until after Sophomore year when a hip injury forced her to resign. (The fact that she didn’t make the cut when it came to the very special “Top 6” competition group, and girls who had been on the squad for a shorter period of time did, may have also had something to do with it – she is a proud Leo after all.) She joined the swim team for a semester but quickly realized she missed dancing too much to give it up entirely. She joined the Varsity cheerleading squad her Junior year (SO not the kind of squad you see on ESPN – we were lucky if we nailed a basket toss or liberty) and danced her way through numerous pep rallies until graduation. Once she started college in Santa Barbara, though, the only dancing she did was the kind at clubs or parties under the influence of a cocktail or several, with the occasional studio or gym class – and it has remained that way to this day. Erica didn’t discover SYTYCD until Season 4 but was quickly hooked. What a season!!! Since then, she has caught up on previous seasons via You Tube and is even more passionate about it. (Truthfully, she couldn’t get through the first season in its entirety, though – no one warned her that Cat didn’t come along until Season 2!) Watching SYTYCD brings back fond memories of her youth, along with a bit of regret for not being as disciplined as she should have been. Oh, what she wouldn’t give to ‘booty pop’ for a Shane Sparks number or Gumby-fy her body in all the perfectly imperfect ways Mia asks of her dancers or tell a story through the smooth and hard-hitting choreography of Nap/Tab or bring out her inner freak to Sonia’s left-of-center dance style and music selection. At least Fox got with the program and picked it up for Fall, as well, so she won’t have to wait a whole year between seasons and can continue to live vicariously through the ridiculously talented youngsters on the show! Erica currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
Although Rebecca has a hazy recollection of going to a ballet class at some point before the age of 4, she has pretty much zero personal experience with dance on a professional level. Sure, she got whiplash from headbanging to Nirvana at her 7th grade dance, and could slow dance to "Lady in Red" with the best of them, but anything choreographed beyond the Electric Slide and the Macarena was a little too complicated for this tomboy to handle. After a brief and ill-advised tour on the Frat Party dance circuit in the early "Back That Ass Up" era at the University of Michigan, she traded in her black pants and tube tops for the seductive world of waiting tables for the remainder of her college free-time. Post-university found Rebecca in Los Angeles, a fresh faced and bright-eyed publicist (at least for the first 6 months), who ultimately became too busy and burnt out to do much but work, watch TV and sleep. One fateful summer evening in 2005, Rebecca happened upon SYTYCD Season 1 and, for the first time, felt the magic of dance reaching into her heart of hearts. Even with mediocre first season host Lauren Sanchez (FUN FACT! aka Mrs. Patrick Whitesell) and egotistical Blake front and center, she fell hard and fast for those passionate kids with talent to spare. Her obsession has increased exponentially each season, as the effervescent Cat Deeley took the reins in Season 2 and steered the show through Mia's elegant park bench moment and Allison & Ivan's sweet hip-hop under the umbrella, to Sabra & Neil's powerful boardroom display in Season 3 and Season 4's irrepressible Katee & Joshua doing ANYTHING. Her favorite choreographers include (duh) Mia, Sonya, Shane Sparks and (until recent sexual assault allegations), Alex de Silva. She is beyond thrilled that Dan Karatay, with his too-big-for-him ties and boring, conventional hip-hop has taken a major backseat on the show to the much more qualified, talented, and entertaining Adam Shankman. She is, to put it mildly, PSYCHED for what Season 5 will bring. Rebecca currently resides in Austin, Texas.

Big Spin-Spin
Players: Marissa and Joanne

Big Spin-Spin is new to the competition this year, but not new to the world of dance. These ladies have frequented dance floors all over the world...From Rick's American Cafe in Ann Arbor, to the Palladium in Acapulco to Naked Lunch in NYC. Mia Michaels is their one true love, busting a move is always a top priority, and dancing for their lives is what they do best.

Pas de Deux
Players: Trice and Dean

This formidable force formed in January of 2006. He, a musician, wrote and recorded with Eddie Van Halen and toured with the legendary band Journey. She, a former dancer, toured with SYTYCD’s own Benji and Lacey Schwimmer. He has songs placed in films, television and a Grammy nominated album. She, was threatened within an inch of her life by Shabba-Doo, choreographer and director of Breakin’ 2 Electric Boogaloo. Together they are Pas de Deux.

Sisters Rachel and Sara make up Team Lucy, named after Rachel's 3-month old . . . We are serious SYTYCD worshippers and happy to join the competition this year.

The SOBE Hook-Up
Players: Stacy and Max

Max and Stacy, formerly known as, "The South Beach Hook- Up" are back this year with a vengeance after placing 2nd last year in the SYTYCD pool (in which, by the way, there was no prize awarded). This year, instead of hooking up friends and relatives with hotels and deals in South Beach, Max is hooking himself up with a glass of scotch while playing the air guitar to "Corduroy". Stacy spends her days taking hip hop classes at the gym and making music and dance videos with her kids. Dora's out, Taylor Swift is in!
SYTYCD family style? Count them in!

Team Hardbodies
Player: Rich Leist

Rich is a casting producer who has been in every SYTYCD and AI pool for the last 2 1/2 years and never gets close to winning. When not sending paypal money to the winners he as a accomplished Endurance athlete. He did the Ironman last year and this year started training first marathoners for the LA marathon. His running group is called “HARDBODIES” and they are sponsored by “THECHIMP.NET- Twitter Celeb Sightings.”

The Jidges
Players: Melissa and Brooke

From a young age, the Rappaport sisters knew that they were performers. Both started as gymnasts; Melissa was the super star but it just did not seem to work out for Brooke. Brooke also enrolled in ballet class but quit while her parents were on vacation and even took jazz for one class. Although professional dance did not work out for Brooke, she now does Zumba to stay in shape. These days, both sisters enjoy performing their favorite show tunes like "Out Tonight" and "I Am Telling You" for their parents. Skilled in booty shaking, these girls really know how to attract black men.

The Dancemakers
Players: Brooke and Erik

"The Dancemakers made their theater debut in the original Broadway production of A Chorus Line. Both suffered severe balletic injuries prior to opening night and were forced to turn their back on the world of dance. After years of drug abuse and self pity, they came out of retirement at the request of the lovely Melissa Rappaport to select the winners of So You Think You Can Dance. "

Kat Deeley's Pharmacist
Players: Karen & Jason Carbone

Through years of training, including one on one sessions with Justin Timberlake and Rev Run, Karen & Jason have honed their skills, moves and grooves. From dancing to Louis Armstrong's Wonderful World on their wedding day fifteen years ago to the Hokey Pokey at their daughters' school these two continue to make dance a priority. If not for a slip of the tongue in front of Nigel Lythgoe two years ago Karen & Jason were set to take the dance world by storm. But that fateful night changed their dance career forever. Now comfortably ensconced in Los Angeles, Karen and Jason will use their dance acumen to predict the future of the remaining SYTYCD contestants. Oh, and if that doesn't work we are plying Kat Deely with a wide variety of pharmaceuticals and believe we have the inside track.

Dearheart & Lulabelle
Players: Olivia & Caroline Carbone

Not to be outdone by their parents, Olivia, Caroline, plan on bringing their youthful knowledge and dance insight to an otherwise adult competition. Since the start of SYTYCD they have been loyal fans and feel they have gained insight into the unpredictable nature of the triumvirate of myopic judges. Through careful preparation they prepared for the draft with the eye of the tiger and the ferocity of an NFL club. Though they didn't always agree on their choices, they feel that this competition will take them from the "kid's table" to the dinning room, and in turn all the way to the bank. Don't let their cute team name throw you. These two are stone cold SYTYCD killers!

Lady Ro Ro
Player: Jen Romanski

Proud and not-so-modest winner of the first ever Rappa Pool, Jenny Romanski is a girl obsessed with SYTYCD. While eating lunch in Miami Beach, Jenny jumped over two restaurant tables and nearly pushed over a 6 year old boy just so she could meet her all-time favorite contestant: Travis Wall ("who was totally robbed of first place and I'm still bitter about it!") Jenny loves to dance, especially after a few glasses of sangria. She's a fan of contemporary and especially lyrical, where she has been known to take over wedding dance floors with lip sync / dance numbers to the likes of Michael Jackson and Cyndi Lauper. Jenny designs stationery and wedding invitations for a living, and is a featured designer on tinyprints.com and weddingpaperdivas.com

Crockett and Tubbs
Players: Jon and Erin

Coming off the big Idol win, these 2 have huge egos. They are ready to round kick you in the face with another 1st place finish. Also, they both enjoy napping.

I should let you know that if Twitch or Katee win, SYTYCDreject will win. If Josh wins, it then depends on whether Katee or Courtney place higher --if Katee places higher, SYTYCDreject will win and if Courtney places higher, Sklar wins. If Courtney wins, Sklar wins.

Just left the taping of Idol Gives Back... well... not exactly THE taping, but the live show tonight, where we (the audience) got about 4 minutes total of air time. I can't complain, since I've been to half a dozen tapings by now, but I was a bit disappointed and sad for my partner in crime, Erin (of Crockett & Tubbs), who went into the taping as a virgin and left as only getting to second base (it was David Archuletta that felt her up, btw.) We did get a live rendition of "Seasons of Love" which made us both very happy.

In case you didn't know by now, Wet & Messy were booted from our competition last week with the departure of Ramiele, leaving us with:

Goodbye Asia'h. I never really thought you were that great, though definitely don't think you deserved the boot. Danny- you were entertaining... and now I've lost 2 players. If I wasn't feeling totally rejected from the pool before, I am now. Luke and Kady- you both deserved to go home.

"Idol" or Drowning Daughter? Mom Chose "Idol"

A 25-year-old mother of five accidentally left two of her young children in the bathtub last week in Indianapolis, leaving one to nearly drown -- because she was too busy watching "American Idol." Don't worry -- like Luke Menard, the kid survived.

According to a police report, Sheila Brooks placed her youngest kids (Sirius, 3, and Sereena, 1) in the tub and then went to another room to fetch some clothes. After watching "Idol" for a few minutes with two of her other children -- Daesheana, 7, and Dasianaye, 5 -- Brooks suddenly remembered about the other two kids and sent Daesheana to get them out.

The police say that when Daesheana got to the bathtub, she found Sirius emerged under water and not moving. She called for her mom, who then performed CPR and called 911.

As of now no charges have been filed and Sirius is still in the hospital, according to WIBC radio.

Amazing performances by David Cook, David Hernandez, David Archuletta. Lucky name tonight. Archuletta's humble little squints bug me to hell- a little too "Doolittle-ish" for me- but I have to admit... fantastic. Personally I thought the judges are critiquing Robbie Carrico too hard on his "rocker" status. I liked the performance a lot. Not because we have him in our top 3-- I SWEAR. And, although I absolutely cannot stand Jason Yeager and completely agree he is beyond awkward, Simon was absolutely brutal to him. Thought Michael Johns was a bit of a disappointment (expected), thought Jason Castro is just HOT, and I liked Danny Noriega's sweater. That was about it from his performance. Oh... and Chikizee... NTB!

Everyone got very mouthy with Simon tonight. Simon no likey.

Paula's hair was a huge improvement from last week.

2008 American Idol Pool

New players, welcome to the American Idol pool. Old players, welcome back. We have a record breaking number of contestants this year with 22 teams. At $20 per team, that brings the winning pot up to $440- highest pot to date. The draft will begin when the top 20 players remain. What does this mean? It means you should watch closely when the top 24 are selected on wednesday evening, because your winner is in that group. Below is the schedule from now until the time the pool begins.

Tuesday, Feb. 12 (8:00-10:00 PM) Hollywood Round, Part 1 (aired)

Wednesday, Feb. 13 (8:00-9:00 PM) Hollywood Round, Part 2 Top 24 Semifinalists Announced

Tuesday, Feb. 19 (8:00-10:00 PM) Top 12 Male Singers Perform

Wednesday, Feb. 20 (8:00-10:00 PM) Top 12 Female Singers Perform

Thursday, Feb. 21 (8:00-9:00 PM) First Results Show (ET live/PT tape-delayed) Two Male and Two Female Contestants Voted Off

The day after the top 20 are announced, the pool will begin with a draft (draft order will be selected at random and by a 3rd party). Each team will have 1 representative as the spokesperson to select your players. I will be setting up a spreadsheet on Google that each team member will be able to access and follow, so that as it becomes your turn, you will be able to fill in your selection yourself. I'm sure there will be questions, please just let me know who your team captain is and I will explain more thoroughly.

Each team will get 3 picks of Idol contestants- each contestant can be selected 4 times. Once "Lakisha" has been picked 4 times, "Lakisha" is no longer available. Understand? The draft will go in a snake formation, 1-22, 22-1 and 1-22 again.

Miss Sabra takes the win as America's "favorite" dancer and...

Congrats to our very own Jen Romansky who's top 2 picks of Sabra and Danny as her #1 and #2 makes her the winner of our first ever SYTYCD pool.

Hats off to Danny who put up a good fight. If the competition were really America's BEST dancer, surely he would have taken the crown, but America voted for their favorite, and Sabra it was. While there is some speculation about the contest being rigged, I do believe the votes were in Sabra's favor. I love this show and can't wait until next year... hope you will all join in again!

Top Four Performance Show!

I won't spoil wednesday's show for anyone, but I will tell you, you have a great 2 hours of tv ahead of you on wednesday night. I haven't watched today's episode where we say goodbye to Pasha (not surprised) and Lauren (surprised) but clearly I know that is what happened since myself, Matt, Caroline and Rich were lucky enough to sit 2nd row at the pre-taped performance of the final 4. It was fantastic. I have so much to say but again, don't want to spoil for all you regular viewers. I will say that sitting directly behind Travis (last year's runner up) was certainly a highlight for me. I love him and still believe he should have won last year.

Still, Rich and I posed for a picture with Benji... why not!

Matt, next year's front runner for commissioner, truly had a full day of SYTYCD. After sitting through hours of taping, he went home to do a little research on the final 4 and look at what he sent in... INTERESTING I must say, and completely disappointing if he is right.

Just checked out the SYTYCD newsgroup and if posts are any indication Neil will win the show. Here are the amount of specific posts:

Hats off to all the dancers though. Tonight we were told that since friday, they have each learned 5 dances, beginning their day at 7am and ending at midnight, with only a 1 hour break for lunch. We were told their bodies and brains at this point, are mush and they are all tired, sick and injured. It's incredible how hard they work, so for that, they all get my support.

Keep your eyes peeled for the four of us- I think we all got air time, especially Rich and I who were substitute family members of Neil. You may also see our heads popping through the sign that Sabra's mom is holding... so look closely!

Ok, first and foremost, I must appologize for my lack of blogging. While some may think the show is less important to me now that I am eliminated (as is Jodi after last week), that is completely not true. I let work get the best of me this week and lost focus on SYTYCD. I promise that will not happen again. Especially now that we are down to 6- it's getting intense! Lucky pool players like myself, Matt, Caroline and Rich are going to next monday's taping- top 4... can't wait! But until then- we still have wednesday and thursday night to look forward to. To recap last week, we said goodbye to Sara and Dominic. With their departure we saw the last of the b-boys and b-girls on the stage. I loved both of them. Now, I think i'm fully supporting Danny and Sabra. Lauren holds a close 3rd.

Last night we said goodbye to Jaimie and Kameron. That shook a few things up in our pool, eliminating Emily, Marni, Rich and Deb. You join Caroline, Sam, Jenni and Jen G in the loser pile. Jon is in terrific shape with all three of his dancers still in the pool (way to go on the trade - it totally saved you!) Melissa, Brooke, Matt, Jen R, Jodi and Jana are still strong with 2, while Nick is barely holding on with Pasha. The game is getting good! 8 players and 8 dancers remain! Atleast I think so and so does DAN KARATY who I just ran into at Starbucks. Of course, being the loud-mouth publicist and pool commissioner I am, I had to fill the SYTYCD choreographer in on our pool. He was loving it and after posing for a picture with me gave me his thoughts on this season. He thinks its between Lacey and Danny. He asked my opinion and when I said I was very impressed with Sabra, he actually seemed surprised- telling me he thought she was going to be one of the first off the show, but has definitely stepped it up. I did not get the impression he saw her going all the way ... unlike Mia who called Sabra out as her favorite the other night. Dan was really cool. I would like him to be my new friend. I am going to try to track down his info so I can get him involved in the pool- maybe he will want to be a special guest commentator one week on Dillon's Dish...

A HUGE thank you to Matt for stepping in while I was on my great European adventure (I will be putting up a link to our photos from the trip where you can see me busting a move on the dance floor in 5 different countries.) While I was gone, there were some surprising eliminations like Shauna and some not so surprising goodbyes like Cedric. Last week, we lost Anya and Hok. I was fine with Anya leaving- she bothers me, but I would have liked to see Hok make the top 10 if only for the purpose of making the tour. As Matt pointed out, here are the standings going into tonight's elimination:

My prediction is that either Neil or Kameron could be leaving tonight for the boys, and i think Jaimie may have to go for the girls- not because she doesn't deserve to stay- but out of everyone that is left, she seems to fall at the bottom of my list. Maybe I'm wrong...

We'll have to see in a few hours! I'll have results up tomorrow.

No Dancing This Week...

Ok, so I'm a little behind on blogging about last week's episode but the emails that went around on Friday were sufficient enough for thoughts/feelings/emotions on the sad and surprising departures of Jessi and Jesus.

Moving on to this week....maybe I missed the memo, but I was upset when I got home from Manhattan Beach last night and SYTYCD was not on. Bummer! We'll have to wait until next week to see who else goes home. In the meantime, I'd like to announce that there was a successful and commissioner approved trade. After Caroline's plea to trade Lauren, Jon stepped up and offered his Jaimie for Caroline's Lauren. If you refer to the below cross reference guide, the change has already been made. The trade period has expired. That is bad news for Jenn G! You are out of the game. I do have an offer for you, or for anyone else who may be interested though...

I will be out of the country from July 9th-July 23rd and I'm accepting applications for stand-in commissioners during these 2 weeks. Of course I will be updating the blog, but I would like to have a substitute during this time to keep all members informed of immediate news and results that I may be late on. Plus, I most likely will not be able to watch until I am home... let me know if you are interested in lending a hand.

I had so much to say about the performances tonight, but am now speechless after hearing about Jessi. While its terribly sad for her, it could potentially be devastating for Jenn G, Jenni and Deb who have her in their top 3. Tomorrow, if Jessi is ok to dance, she will be "dancing for her life", but if she is not well enough to dance, she will be cut. Pasha gets a standing O from me tonight. Impressive for dancing like that...with that. I was NOT impressed by the so-called Cha-Cha Dance US Dance Champion that stepped in. Am I wrong? I'm really beginning to love Sabra and Dominic, was pretty creeped out by Danny's grinding moves towards Debbie Allen during her comments towards him (anyone else see that?) and think Cedric is just awful. His preaching drove me bananas and for those who know me know I HATE BANANAS.

VOTE. Remember, they are 888 numbers, not 800 numbers.

I'm truly interested to know how many of you actually vote. I do attempt weekly but after 3 busy signals I usually quit.

Thursday night we said goodbye to Jimmy (I personally didn't think it was his time yet) and Faina (I'm very pleased). Caroline has the first casualty, though while many of you think she may be eliminated already, she still has an option to trade. Meanwhile, I should let you guys all know that trading players will last ONLY through this week of competition. NEXT Wednesday, at 8pm PST, the trading window will be closed.

Caroline has had a streak of bad luck in this year's reality pools. In this past season of Survivor, Caroline's two picks were the first two contestants voted off the island, leading to her elimination. Let's hope her luck picks up this week!

Well well well, don't we all feel like idiots for not picking Dominic. None of us - not one. We couldn't see past the b-boy/breaker in him. As Mia said, he is "truly what this competition is about." I was floored by his moving performance. But then again, I'm a sucker for contemporary. I personally think those in trouble include Fiena and Cedric, and Jaimie and Hok (though I was impressed with Hok's ability to samba). To be honest, Fiena drives me up a wall (Sorry Caroline.)

Matt Kunitz

While I have no dance experience, I did win the 2nd grade roller skating limbo contest. I was actually in 3rd grade but I was really short and could pass off for a 2nd grader.

In the shower I sing well enough to be in a boy band. I worked with Kevin Richardson, of the Back Street Boys, while executive producing Fear Factor.

John Lavin

When not creating trailers for tv shows that don't yet exist, John enjoys reading, traveling and breakdancing with Lily Tomlin.

Emily Grimes

Although I am an accountant for Endemol USA now, there was a time when you would've found me in the chorus line. I grew up dancing--ballet, tap,
jazz, clogging, modern...you name it. I also danced in several musicals in college. I am presently taking an acting class that I love and I'm hoping to make my performance comeback sometime in the near future!

Brooke Rappaport

Jenni Beligrin

Makeup artist by day and Trocadero cocktail waitress by night, Jenni is quite the multi tasker. While serving mojitos and kettle sodas to thirsty patrons, she faithfully watches So You Think You Can Dance every Wednesday night from the tv above the bar. She puts her love for dancing before her love for tips, taking valuable time away from her night to cast votes for her favorite contestants.

Nicky "I Know I Can Dance " Bove

Nick was a pianist, gymnast and jazz dancer most of his child and adolescent years. In high school and college, Nick became involved in beer drinking and drugs, participating in a variety of local beer pong, zonk and flip cup tournaments. He also took interpretive dance and skin flute lessons for fun and fitness. After graduation, Nick put his dancing and partying on hold to start his career. He is now a successful drug dealer, living in Jersey City and aspires to one day be the future husband of "So You Think You Can Dance" Season 2 Champion - Benji. Nick also coaches in a professional beer funnelin

g league on the weekends and has most recently accepted a position as the assistant to the assistant choreographer for Vanilla Ice's new video remake of Lionel Richie's " Dancing on The Ceiling" !

Marni Cioffi

As captain of the cheerleading squad, Marni was known around Dayton High School as the girl with “all the moves.” Now, she spend my evenings teaching her nephews how to do the running man and roger rabbit. On the weekends she likes to go clubbin’ with her husband where they bump and grind on the dance floor.

Melissa Rappaport

Melissa, who has been moving and grooving for over 25 years, learned her best moves at summer camp. She was the youngest camper to ever make the Israeli Arts Festival dance group and the youngest counselor to be elected “Head of Dance in 1997. she continued to rock out at the University of Michigan where she spent many a late night on the Rick’s dance floor. Currently, she resides in LA where she does a lot more watching dance on tv than actually dancing but still aspires to be on tour

with Janet Jackson as a back up dancer.

Caroline's dance career was short lived. She quit ballet at 9 years old after her first recital. She could not tolerate the frizz caused by the tight bun she was required to wear in her hair.

Jenn Galardi

Jennifer has been dancing since the ripe old age of 4. However, as the only daughter of a classic east coast work work work family, she never really got to express the artistic joy of dance. It was the “discipline” factor that made it something she continued up through high school, along with tennis, cheerleading and straight A’s.
She always did the ‘right’ thing, went to the ‘good’ school and got the ‘real’ job post graduation in Birmingham, AL. However, beginning to break the confining shackles, she moved to LA where her first taste of being in front of the camera came from the notorious Mikey Glazer and Matt Kuntz on FEAR FACTOR in 2001. Due to her competitive nature, she was PISSED OFF she didn’t win, but did, however, come from behind to place 2nd with a stellar performance in the pig ear eating contest. Jennifer finally said Fuck You to the conventional life her parents’ had dreamed for her and continues to dance professionally for the LOVE of it. As proved in the pictures she loves to hide behind her hair when she dances (and Yes, that is J.Lo’s sexy ex wife, Cris Judd in the background!) She is the owner of a company called Girls a Go-Go and dreams to one day be in pieces choreographed by Mia Michaels and Wade Robson.

Memorial Service for Dillon Rappaport

Mikey and I are holding a memorial service on Saturday, June 9, 2007, on the rooftop of 8455 DeLongpre Ave in honor of Dillon Rappaport. Please come by any time between 5pm-7pm. If you have stories or memories of Dillon you'd like to share, your thoughts are very welcome. There will also be a very special donation "plate" where it is encouraged that each person donate a simple $5. All donations will be given to the Amanda Foundation (http://www.amandafoundation.org/) in Dillon's name.

Immediately following the ceremony, we will move down the street to Trocadero, where we will celebrate Dillon's life over drinks- like he would have wanted us to. He loved that his mom and dad always knew how to party.
